Max Molly Mines Corp

History

1970

The MAX Mine has a rich history dating back to the 1970s, when it was first explored by Cascadia and Newmont Mining, one of the world’s largest mining companies. Over the years, extensive drilling campaigns confirmed the presence of a significant molybdenum deposit.

2008

In 2008, the MAX Mine was brought into production by Roca Mines, which operated it successfully with a peak market capitalisation of $900 million.

Today

Now, under the ownership of 42 Moly Mines Corp., the MAX Mine is undergoing a strategic reactivation, leveraging historical investment, existing infrastructure, and rising global demand for molybdenum to unlock its full potential as a high-margin, low-capex producer.
